Your qualifications

For our team in Barcelona, we are looking for an experienced Android / Kotlin Developer that meets the following criteria:

You are a team player who values integrity and honesty. You are not always tempted by the “quick solution”, but instead you reflect on the architecture and design in your solutions.
You enjoy working in all parts of the development process – from idea and requirements specification to implementation, release, maintenance, and bug fixing.
You have a strong technical knowledge – including the understanding of end-user experience. You are also able to produce well-structured and readable code.
You are a broad-based Android Developer with the ability to deliver unique solutions to our customers, based on making complex business systems easy-to-use.
Some experience in Android development, mainly in Kotlin.
In-depth knowledge about Android and concept like Android Jetpack/Android Architecture Components and The Android Material guidelines.
Experience with Continuous Integration (Jenkins, AzureDevOps or similar)
Released one or more apps in the AppStore.
Intrinsic motivation to keep learning and sharpening your knowledge & craft.

Additionally, it would be a plus if you can say yes to any of the following:

You understand modern tooling and operating platforms, such as cloud solutions, containerization, Git, and much more.
You have experience in Firebase or Google cloud.
You have been able to work or understand one or more of the following platforms iOS, React Native, or Native Script.
You have experience working in Scrum or other Agile environments.
You have curiosity about cutting edge technologies such as Machine Learning, NoSQL, Microservices, and IoT.

As we work with international clients, fluent written and spoken English is required. Knowledge of the Spanish language is an advantage, but is not mandatory.

Travels to our main offices in Copenhagen and occasionally to customer locations are to be expected, potentially 10-30 days per year.

Collaboration with clients and your colleagues to analyse and map requirements for solution description and requirement specification.
Have a key function throughout the project lifecycle.
Development of quality code and associated documentation in accordance with development standards.
Ensure the quality of the solutions during their entire life cycle by being a key role during the DevOps phase.
