With many new and exciting projects underway, Trifork is very busy and is now looking for a passionate and talented frontend developer to join our dynamic and fast growing team in Copenhagen.

As a developer at Trifork, you will be part of an agile and highly skilled team who invites you to take part in the entire development process in close collaboration with our customers and UI/UX designers. You will create a variety of applications within different domains, focusing on creating great user experiences through software.

About you

You are a team player who values integrity and honesty. You are not always tempted by the “quick solution”, but instead consider different possibilities together with their pros and cons. You are curious about software architecture, new technologies and best practices without blindly following established norms and latest trends.

You are able and willing to build relationships with our customers and strive to involve them in the whole process, openly addressing the challenges along the way, and cultivating an environment of collaboration, transparency, and integrity.

You enjoy working with all parts of the development process – from idea and requirements specification to implementation, bug fixing, release, and maintenance.

You have a great technical knowledge and an understanding of end-user experience. You are also able to produce well-structured, robust, and readable code.


Job requirements

We expect that you have :

  • Intrinsic motivation to keep learning and sharpening your knowledge
  • Experience with one of the modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, VueJs or Svelte
  • Experience with modern JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript
  • Experience with writing modern, accessible, semantic, and lightweight HTML
  • Experience with modern and performant CSS, pre-processors such as SCSS/LESS, post-processors such as PostCSS


Also, it is a bonus if you have :

  • A strong interest in architecture, domain-driven design, and design patterns

  • Experience with more than one frontend framework
  • Experience with Redux for state management
  • Experience with building and bundling JavaScript using webpack or other different technologies
  • Experience with writing unit, integration, or acceptance tests (karma, protractor, cypress, Jasmine, mocha, chai...)
  • Good eye for typography, color, layout, style guides, and aesthetics are definitely a plus.
  • Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with multiple programming paradigms
